The field proven Military Power®UPS line is ideally suited for military, industrial and telecommunicationsapplications requiring a rugged rack, vehicular or field deployable, high reliability, compact sizeand light weight design. The heavy-duty chassis occupies only 3U (5.25”) ofrack space while delivering up to 2000 VA of clean, uninterruptible power. Therounded metal corners and rugged handles, both front and rear, aid in safehandling. Internally, all major components are well secured and electricallyinsulated to prevent damage due to shock and vibration. The internal shieldedinput transformer provides galvanic isolation with provisions for both domestic(CONUS) and optional autoranging international input voltages (OCONUS). The LEDarrays keep the operator informed as to the unit's status including load andbattery levels. The high intensity audible alarm can be heard in high noiseenvironments, yet is easily adjustable to suit quieter conditions. All controlsand protective devices are brought to the front panel with critical switches orbreakers guarded. Further, all front panel devices are recessed to preventdamage or accidental operation. The internal intelligent PDU allows control ofthe individual output circuits incorporating thermal and interlock interfacesfor additional control and safety, plus Battleshort override. The display andcontrol panel can be mounted remotely in the rack, or on the keyboard console,or on the unit front panel with only a logic level cable connection. Both theinput breaker and isolation transformer provide double pole isolation forshipboard systems.

The rear panel provides lockingconnectors for the input and output power with various optional configurationsavailable. The washable air filters and high capacity ball bearing fan provideadded protection in both controlled and hostile environments. The externalbattery connector allows the safe and easy addition of extra battery moduleswithout having to shut the unit down. A frequency selection switch is availablefor those sites requiring 50-hertz output instead of the standard60-hertz.  The status D shell connectorprovides signals to interface with optional computer software providing loss of AC andlow battery status. The RJ45 LAN port provides an SNMP/HTTP interface forvarious UPS parameters.

Overall, the Rugged Power line is uniquely qualified for critical shipboard, vehicle, airborne or land based systems combining advanced modular designfeatures with highly reliable construction.
